Professor David Edgerton, a new member of the AA Council, has recently made two contributions to the national press on the subject of British politics. Edgerton contributed to the 3 July 2021 episode of Archive on 4, ‘Millions Like Us’, on BBC Radio 4, which examined the impact of international crises past and present on politics in the UK. On 9 July, his article ‘Labour didn’t lose its “red wall” – it never had one’ was published by the Guardian.
