The AA’s Design Research Lab (DRL) has been ranked as one of the best postgraduate programmes in the world by Best Architecture Masters (BAM) World Ranking 2023. This is the sixth consecutive year that DRL, a programme led by Theodore Spyropoulos, has been listed.

BAM aims to identify the top international master’s programmes from leading architecture schools. Programmes are compared by a panel of 15 professors and international experts to assist architects and students in identifying the leading programmes worldwide. 18 universities were featured in the 2023 ranking.
