This afternoon conversation on Sunday 23 November – the closing day of the AA’s Venice Architecture Biennale exhibition Margherissima – will explore how spaces are shaped by power and can become sites of healing, care and resistance. The event, called 'Conversations: On Space, Care and Resistance', is hosted by AA tutor and alum Béné Jakel with guests Helena Cing Deih Sian and flematu sessay, alongside the AA Visiting School Marghera Pasts, Presents and Futures. It will focus on building infrastructures of agency, radical care and solidarity that challenge colonial, fascist and patriarchal structures. The session centres relational dialogue, positional storytelling and intersectional perspectives on how we build, care, remember and resist. Find out more.
