AA tutor Delfina Bocca, who teaches on the First Year programme and within the Environmental and Technical Studies programme at the school, has presented a paper of her research at the EcoCity World Summit, held from 6–8 June 2023 at the Barbican Centre in London. The theme of the event was ‘Connecting Communities’ and it focused on how participation, design democratisation and transdisciplinary approaches can be applied to improve biodiversity, promote the health of ecosystems and create alternative regenerative design models for the future of our cities.
Bocca’s paper, titled Central Market: Digitalisation of Minority Groups in Argentina Looking at Recent Migration, proposes a digital means of revaluing the relationship between migration, local and imported resources in pursuit of a more inclusive society.
