AA tutor Nerma Cridge will present her paper Architecture and War: Lebbeus Woods’ Projects in Berlin and Sarajevo at the upcoming EAHN conference in Madrid, Spain.

Cridge’s paper, using architect Lebbeus Woods’ drawings of Berlin and Sarajevo as focal points, examines what defines buildings as unbuildable. In its concluding parts, the paper questions what, if any, is the role of the architect within difficult political situations such as war.

Cridge will present her paper on Wednesday 15 June.
