On Wednesday 25 November, AA tutor Patricia Mato-Mora, who is a First Year and Core Studies Tutor, presented her research on resilient urbanization strategies in the Sonora desert, at an event titled “Indigenous Shapes of Water”. Patricia’s presentation was titled “Gi’iko Ce:mo’oidag: A Proposal for Urban-Agrarian Development in the Gila River Indian Community”, and presented a proposal for indigenous resilient urban-agrarian adaptation to the arid climate of the Sonora.
