AA Tutor Sabrina Morreale and her practice Lemonot are completing a residency and fellowship programme at the Scuola Piccola Zattere in Venice. An event, held on Friday 21 November, celebrates a new public installation to conclude the residency.
Morreale’s project explores the model of the theatre-parliament as a democratic device and architecture capable of translating collective practices into spatial forms of conviviality. The installation is an inhabitable telescope, reflecting on the church of Sant'Anna as a symbolic place and civic infrastructure, called to become a permanent laboratory of participation. A film will be projected on the ceiling, highlighting the porosity, circulation and connections between the cloisters and their inhabitants.
