AA tutors Ila Bêka and Louise Lemoine, who teach Homo Urbanus: A Laboratory for Sensitive Observers (DIP16) have been exhibiting and winning prizes internationally for their documentary film-making. They have recently premiered a new film, Tokyo Ride, which was awarded the ‘Depth of Focus’ prize at the Docaviv International Documentary Film Festival, and is currently touring film festivals including: Copenhagen Architecture Festival, AFFR Rotterdam, Bozar Brussels, Milano Design Film Festival and the US/Canada ADFF.

Their project Homo Urbanus is also being exhibited at the Festival Image de Ville, Marseille until 25 October 2020. Their work is also being exhibited in collective shows including: ‘New Ways of the World’, Lille and ‘Living in the City’ at Tempelhof Airport, Berlin

Ila and Lemoine will also give a lecture at Cornell University entitled ‘The Experience of Space’ on Wednesday 25 November. More information
