AA Foundation tutors Michael and Chiyan Ho, who graduated from the AA in 2019, have been selected as one of 30 finalists by Circa x Dazed to have their short film, Empty Orchestra, showcased on the iconic London Piccadilly Lights, Seoul’s Coex K-Pop Square and Tokyo’s Yunika Vision.

The Circa x Dazed Class of 2021 is a brand-new initiative that invites young video artists from around the world to submit a two-and-a-half-minute short film in response to the theme ‘Communion’, as set by interdisciplinary artist Angel Rose. From among the 30 finalists one winner will be chosen and awarded £30,000.

The London-based duo’s film will be screened on Tuesday 21 September in London, Seoul and Tokyo.
