AA tutors, alumni and artist duo Michael and Chiyan Ho have launched their first solo exhibition at the V.O Creations, London. The exhibition comprises seven oil and acrylic painting created in their residency.

The work, collectively titled Kūnlún, pays homage to ancient Chinese mythology using a unique painting practice that involves pushing specks of acrylic paint from the back of the canvas to the front to form the backdrop, then switching to oil to paint the figures on top. This new body of work employs myth, metaphor and magical realist narratives to explore Chinese diasporic identity.

The exhibition will run until Thursday 16 December.
