Co-heads of the AA-ITB BambooLab Visiting School, John Naylor and Andry Widyowijatnoko, will be presenting the pedagogy of the programme at the International Bamboo and Rattan Organisation (INBAR) Online talks series: Bamboo: A Very Sustainable Construction Material on Tuesday 23 November.

Developed with nearly a decade of research, this global programme, organised jointly between the AA and the Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), advocates for a greater awareness of bio-based minimally processed materials in architecture by developing a design process which starts with the material and incorporates parametric design tools.
