Simos Yannas and Jorge Rodriguez publish research in Sustainable Cities and Society on overheating in modern residential design

A new research paper by Simos Yannas (Director MArch/MSc Sustainable Environmental Design) and Jorge Rodriguez (Tutor, SED), ‘Domestic Overheating in a Temperate Climate: Feedback from London Residential Schemes’, that draws upon field data from over fifty AA SED building studies, published in Sustainable Cities and Society and on free access till Wednesday 1 July 2020. The paper outlines causes of overheating in modern residential designs in London, supplying a large body of data that can be used to ensure future designs are designed more effectively to prevent overheating.
