Admin History: The recording is of the 8th lecture in the series entitled 'Conservation', given by Mark Cousins as part of the AA General Studies programme, 1996-97. In this lecture, Mark Cousins focus on the relation of guilt and indebtedness. Cousins argues imposing guilt is equivalent to seeking to impose control. Cousins address further questions of obligation and indebtedness, including parental love as a narcissistic investment.
Custodial History: Original recording (format unknown) was made by the AA Audio Visual Department and a digital copy (.wma format) has been retained on the department's servers since c2013.
