Admin History: The recording is of the 2nd lecture in the series entitled 'The Scape', given by Mark Cousins as part of the AA General Studies programme, 2004-2005. In this lecture, Mark Cousins starts to construct his argument, articulating a provisional definition of 'the scape' - examining the idea of the reconstruction of knowledge, the history of knowledge and of the organization of knowledge. Cousins then focuses upon the question of 'landscape,' using it as both a test of his definition and as a means of elaborating upon it.
Custodial History: Original recording (format unknown) was made by the AA Audio Visual Department and a digital copy (.wma format) has been retained on the department's servers since c2013.
Aquisition: Digital preservation and access copies were created by the AA Archives in 2021, using the digital file held by the the AA Audio Visual Department.
