Admin History: The recording is of the 11th lecture in the series entitled 'Where is Everyday Life?', given by Mark Cousins as part of the AA Open Lecture series, 2012-2013. For the final lecture of this series, Mark Cousins borrows Walter Benjamin's concept of 'Love at last sight' to describe the manner in which he understands the 'subject' as related to the 'object' in everyday life. Cousins goes on to clarify the' object's' affinity to the 'art object', before presenting his final, concluding thoughts in the context of his readings of Giorgio Agamben.
Custodial History: Original recording (format unknown) was made by the AA Audio Visual Department and a digital copy (.iso format) has been retained on the department's servers since c2013.
