Admin History: The recording is of the 5th lecture in the series entitled 'Next to Nothiong', given by Mark Cousins as part of the AA Open Lecture series, 2007-2008. In this lecture, Mark Cousins gives the provocation that we ourselves are 'next to nothing'. Cousins begins with defining what is 'next', and the idea of 'being lost' in the dimension of time and space. Then Cousins discusses issues involved in locating oneself when one is 'next to nothing'. Finally, he poses questions as to how we move forward and how we consider the rights of the ego.
Custodial History: Original recording (format unknown) was made by the AA Audio Visual Department and a digital copy (.iso format) has been retained on the department's servers since c2013.
