Admin History: The recording is of the 7th lecture in the series entitled 'Where is Everyday Life?', given by Mark Cousins as part of the AA Open Lecture series, 2012-2013. Title is provided during the lecture. In this lecture, Mark Cousins explores the meaning of the miracle in everyday life. He gives an account of the Christian tradition in which God does not act but is a sign. He investigates the relation of martyrs, angels, and Satan, as a figure described by Milton, to miracles. Cousins positions the fallen angel as irretrievable urban and always ambivalent in the city of man.
Custodial History: Original recording (format unknown) was made by the AA Audio Visual Department and a digital copy (.iso format) has been retained on the department's servers since c2013.
