Admin History: The recording is of the 6th lecture in the series entitled 'Distructure', given by Mark Cousins as part of the AA Open Lecture series, 2008-2009. Mark Cousins proposes that the real source of tyranny is the wish to help people, to be benevolent and good, making the provocation that 'malice always clothes itself as being virtuous and even progressive'. He presents an alternative interpretation of the history of the Mosque-Cathedral of Cordoba, Spain as the perfect illustration of his argument.
Custodial History: Original recording (format unknown) was made by the AA Audio Visual Department and a digital copy (.iso format) has been retained on the department's servers since c2013.
