Admin History: The recording is of the 3rd lecture in the series entitled 'Miracles', given by Mark Cousins as part of the AA Open Lecture series, 2016-2017. In this lecture, Mark Cousins performs an analysis on the concept of 'the miracle'. He evaluates such events, not i terms of 'truth' but as part of a process of 'wishing' - the translation of which is requested into a material outcome. Cousins argues the miracle is not about God but about the capacity to wish in the face of evidence.
Custodial History: Original recording (format unknown) was made by the AA Audio Visual Department and a digital copy (.iso format) has been retained on the department's servers since c2016.
