The lecture title is provided verbally during the lecture. In this lecture, Mark Cousins questions as to the region where the joy of everyday life is located. He proposes it is to be found outside of architecture but in and around buildings, placing this argument in relation to discussions over 'the vernacular' in language and linguistics
