Admin History: In this conference paper, Mark Cousins examines conditions under which psychoanalytical theory contributes to the culture of architecture. Arguing that psychoanalysis deals with the unconscious, Cousins considers that discussion is needed as to whether psychoanalytical theories of space are all subjective - and calls for an approach which can unite all such theories.
