Admin History: The recording is of the 6th lecture in the series entitled 'The Scape', given by Mark Cousins as part of the AA General Studies programme, 2004-2005. In this lecture, Mark Cousins raises the question as to what kind of aesthetics is appropriate to his concept of 'the scape' and whether intellectual knowledge can be a condition of aesthetic experience itself? The topic is investigated through the perspective of Kantian aesthetics.
Custodial History: Original recording (format unknown) was made by the AA Audio Visual Department and a digital copy (.wma format) has been retained on the department's servers since c2013.
