Talking 'around' his contribution to a group exhibition A Dream of Urbanity, writer and photographer John Stathatos develops some of his concerns regarding the rapidly developing forms of city life as conflicting or at the very least antagonistic to a notional rural life. Stathatos is the author of several books including The Gardens of the Hesperides and The Book of Lost Cities.
