This video-logging installation is the outcome of the five-day Open Week workshop organised by the AA Digital Prototyping Lab and AA Digital Platforms in collaboration with the Student Forum.
Students from all parts of the school worked on a short and intensive design+build exercise to create an interactive installation for temporary placement. With a brief to design a place to record video messages in private and broadcast them to a wider audience, the project aims to make visible (and audible) activities in the public social scene that are currently taking place on social networking sites.
Students worked on digital interface design, electronic equipment setup and installation design, using fabrication techniques based on the facilities in the AA Digital Prototyping Lab.
