The CCA hosts an afternoon of discussion in Lisbon around the work of Cedric Price on the occasion of the exhibition Obra / Building Site, which features Price’s McAppy project as part of the fourth Lisbon Triennale, The Form of Form, and of the publication of Cedric Price Works 1952–2003: A Forward-minded Retrospective by Samantha Hardingham, co-published by the AA and the CCA.
With this event, the CCA brings together a group of European scholars to present their research projects on the Cedric Price archive and to discuss the contemporary relevance of Price’s ideas, projects, writings and pedagogy.
The discussion will be followed by a presentation of the book by Samantha Hardingham.
This event is part of CCA c/o Lisboa, the first of a series of worldwide temporary initiatives that are locally anchored and seek to define new thematic explorations and broaden collaborations responding to different contexts.
