Join us for the launch of Architecture as Poetics of Knowledge. The São Salvador de Figueiredo Parish Church by Paulo Providência
This book brings together extensive graphic documentation of the remodelling and expansion project for the Church of Figueiredo, Braga. The project drawings and photographic report are accompanied by a text by the author of the work, exposing the process underlying the project, its methodological principles and the models and references involved in its design. An introduction by the editors of this book, Armando Rabaça and Bruno Gil, and texts by Elizabeth Hatz, Rui Machado, Sandra Xavier, and Eliana Sousa Santos complement the volume with critical readings about the intervention and the work of Paulo Providência more broadly.
We are delighted to welcome Paulo Providência, Armando Rabaça, Bruno Gil, Elizabeth Hatz, and Hugh Strange to the AA Bookshop for a discussion of this new title.
