The Adjacencies Lecture Series is an ongoing series of talks dedicated to exploring possible parallels between architecture and other disciplines. The subject for 2003 is software networks. Ramana Rao is this years first speaker, juxtaposing two studies of his own work - the Inxight Star Tree and a chapter contributed to Understanding USA entitled Ecology - with two other studies - of beauty and utility in the works of Gehry and Chihuly, and the phenomenon of Jakob-bashing.
