
Disruptive technologies and mobility concepts are changing the face of our cities, influence our behavioral patterns and create new business models. Conquering the urban airspace has evolved beyond science fiction to a tangible reality. The lecture presents research at the intersection of architecture, mobility and the influence of emergent technologies.
Marvin Bratke is German architect and designer, based in Berlin. His ongoing research and design ambitions are focused on emergent technologies in architecture and industrial design, the digital methodology relating both professions and their application in performance-orientated, mobile and ecological building systems. He has received his diploma in architecture top of the semester at Technical University of Munich. Marvin is Head of Architecture at GRAFT BRANDLAB, where he investigates in adaptable architectural systems that prepare our urban infrastructure for innovative, autonomous and 3dimensional mobility models. Marvin is Co-Founder of Bart//Bratke and has been collaborating with internationally renowned offices GRAFT, LAVA and KERE Architecture.
