Choon-Soo Ryu is one of Korea's leading architects. He has been involved in the design of a number of large-scale international projects, including sports stadia in Austria and Malaysia and the 868 Tower in Haikou, China. His practice, Beyond Space, is known for buildings that combine the latest technology with Korean traditions, while making the most of the natural characteristics of the site. Ryu is designer of the award-winning 1988 Olympic Village and the 2002 World Cup stadium in Seoul.NB: Intermittent problems with sound and image.
