The work of Susan Collins crosses video, new technology and installation art, exploring new forms of interactivity fusing virtual with real spaces. Since 1993 she has worked extensively with site specific installation, often in the form of interventions in a range of public spaces. She has shown nationally and internationally receiving a number of awards for her work including an RSA Art for Architecture award for her collaboration with architect Sarah Wigglesworth on a Classroom of the Future. Susan Collins studied at the Slade School of Fine Art and The School of the Art Institute of Chicago (as a Fulbright scholar). She is Head of the New Media Research Laboratory at the Slade School of Fine Art. NB: Questions are inaudible during Q & A.
