Deborah Saunt describes how she has been charting a position which has evolved between a number of simultaneous conditions: between projects in her own practice and those of other architects; between the culture of architecture and the actual making and building of a finished product; and between the institution and traditions of architecture and new ways of recognizing and judging architecture. While establishing her own practice Deborah Saunt worked with Tony Fretton Architects. She has been a visiting critic and lecturer at several colleges including the AA, the Bartlett, the Royal College of Art and Glasgow School of Art.
