To conclude her AA Media Studies Artist in Residency Erin Robinsong will read from her poem Garden of Vibrations written during the course of her time at the AA, and share insights into her practice and processes.
As a poet and performer Erin’s work explores ecological relations and imaginaries as ways to unmake deadly narratives and remake and remember possible futures.
“Listening Ground”, the project Erin created at the AA, uses a durational listening and composition practice that works with the soil beneath the AA using a geophone to listen to the earth and write in relation to what she heard. During the residency, Robinsong explored these hidden voices embedded in the land of Bedford Square. As part of the project a publication and sound piece were also produced by Cosmo Sheldrake.
This AA Media Studies event is hosted by Nissa Nishikawa and Mehrdad Seyf.
