A Secret Rendezvous: Meeting Place for Art and Architecture. This lecture series presents artists whose work has left the neutrality of the gallery space and entered a wider social arena. In so doing, they have often had to work closely with architects, designers and engineers - a relationship that can be either collaborative or antagonistic. The invited artists discuss the extent to which their own work has been affected and how the relationship between art and architecture has changed. The first lecture is given by the sculptor Edward Allington and is followed by an informal discussion with David Turnbull.NB: Questions inaudible during Q & A.
