This publication will include essays, visual essays, drawings and design projects that relate architecture, photography, literature and criticism to city life. Each issue will be edited by Patrick Lynch, sometimes alongside a guest editor, and will address a series of unpredictable themes concerning urban culture and imagination. Contributors to the first edition include Johan Celsing, Joseph Rykwert, Tom de Paor, Laura Evans, Cino Zucci, etc.

Contributions are invited for the forthcoming issues from photographers, writers and designers who wish to engage in a fruitful dialogue with other creative people about the meaning, frustrations and pleasures of civic culture today. Academics are encouraged to send things that perhaps wouldn’t otherwise find an audience. 

Join us for a drinks reception with editor Patrick Lynch in conversation with Joseph Rykwert and other contributors to celebrate the launch of this great new journal. There will also be a poetry reading by Geraldine Clarkson.
