La Rivoluzione delle Seppie (LRdS) is an international, nomadic, and digital network exploring the boundaries of spatial practice, digital culture, and education. Its approach, rooted in shared values, adapts to each context's specific skills and opportunities. LRdS connects local communities, migrants, academics, and creative professionals with a “temporary community” of collaborators. Through research, design, and pedagogy, the group supports the social and cultural life of both rural and urban areas.
In Belmonte Calabro, a small town in southern Italy, LRdS focuses on reactivating unused spaces. A key initiative is Casa di BelMondo, a former municipal nunnery transformed into a shared space for learning, hosting, and experimentation.
In Cosenza, the provincial capital, LRdS recently launched CosMo – Cosenza Micromondi, supported by public funding. The project works within the historic centre, connecting civic groups, institutions, and urban strategies through cultural programming and relational architecture.
In both contexts, LRdS promotes participatory, sustainable, and transdisciplinary methods to reimagine how we inhabit space. Its work aims to shape collective futures grounded in cooperation, imagination, and the everyday—bridging local knowledge and international perspectives through flexible, context-specific practices.
