To coincide with their AA exhibition At The Bath House Mark Dytham and Astrid Klein present several recent projects. Klein Dytham architecture was established in Tokyo in 1991, specializing in architecture, interiors and furniture design. Materials, colour, humour, and technology are all key elements of their work. In 1993 KDa won the Kajima Space Design Award for best young practice in Japan. Their building for Idee won both the Asahi Glass Design Award and the National Panasonic Design Award in 1996. In 1998 their interior for a new information Centre at the British Council won a national award for best library. Subsequent awards and press coverage have given the office a high international profile.
