By exploring the interconnections between privacy and publicity in modern architecture, specifically in the work of Adolf Loos and Le Corbusier, Beatriz Colomina also reconsiders the methodology of architectural criticism through such issues as the relationship between space and representation. Colomina is an architect who teaches history and theory in the School of Architecture, Princeton University. Her books include Privacy and Publicity: Modern Architecture as Mass Media and Sexuality and Space.
