SoMe+hing On The Side focuses on pattern design and surface modulations, starting by looking into translating these into small wearable pieces such as scarves, and then looking further into expanding this idea to explore the manifestation of the pattern in relation to the whole body, object and space.
The designs draw inspiration from the architectural concepts of perspective, movement and space and how the experience of three-dimensional space can be translated back into two-dimensional shapes, surfaces and patterns. Each design draws its colours and concepts from a story and that in turn defines the shape of each design.
