The world today is facing multiple challenges and architectural education can no longer be understood as a bystander in the face of current events. This forum, introduced by Pier Vittorio Aureli, will debate what is the pedagogical agenda for the school, and how the different units and programmes can contribute to this overall vision.

The AA is a participatory democracy, unique in that its Director is elected by the School Community and amendments to its constitution are voted upon by its global membership. As part of our Directions series this autumn, we will make this democratic process public through a series of conversations between the new AA Director Eva Franch and AA Students, Academic Staff, Members and Alumni to discuss the future of the school and navigate the way forward together.
