Andrew Hewish has a research interest in contemporary drawing, and in line as experienced across various aspects of culture. He is currently preparing a publication for Marmalade Visual Theory entitled Tropologies of the Line.
Andrew Hewish is a visual artist and Senior Lecturer in Critical Studies in Art and Photography at the Cass and founded the Centre for Recent Drawing in London where he has curated over 100 exhibitions since 2004. He gained his PhD from the Royal College of Art and was supervised for his MRes at the London Consortium by the AA's Mark Cousins.
