Amanda Sharp co-founded Frieze, one of the world’s leading art organisations in 1991. Frieze publishes frieze magazine, Europe's leading contemporary art and culture publication. It also presents the international art fairs: Frieze London, Frieze Masters, Frieze New York and Frieze Los Angeles.
Edwin Heathcote is the architecture and design critic of The Financial Times. He is an architect and the author of around a dozen books. He is the founder and editor-in-chief of Readingdesign.org, a non-profit online archive of critical texts.
Chris Hildrey is the director of Hildrey Studio. Having previously worked at Zaha Hadid Architects, OMA, and Niall McLaughlin Architects, he was named a Designer in Residence of the Design Museum in 2017 before establishing his studio in 2018. Since then he has been named an RIBA Rising Star and awarded the RIBA President’s Medal for Research, a D&AD Impact Award for Humanitarian Aid,and shortlisted for the Beazley Designs of the Year. Current projects include a refurbishment of a homeless shelter in central London, a music video for DJ Max Cooper, and ProxyAddress – a system to provide stable addresses to those facing homelessness. In 2020 he was named one of The Big Issue’s Top 100 Changemakers.
Alan Jones is a Professor at Queen’s University Belfast, founder of Alan Jones Architects and RIBA President September 2019 -2021. His work has been published widely and he has been a guest reviewer in UCD, TU Delft, Cambridge, Bath and the Mac, Glasgow. He is passionate about how education and practice can come together to support and challenge each other to be better. He has judged the RIBA President’s medals, chaired the 2020 Royal Gold Medal jury and will chair the 2020 Stirling Prize Jury.
Ana Botella is the Acting Head of Public Programmes at the Wellcome Collection.
Jim Eyre is a founding director at WilkinsonEyre where he has led the design on many of the practice’s cultural, commercial and infrastructure projects. Jim was awarded an OBE in the 2003 Honours list for services to architecture and has taught at Harvard’s Graduate School of Design and the Illinois Institute of Technology. Jim is one of few architects to be awarded the Royal Academy of Engineering President’s Medal, and is an expert panellist on the Liveable Cities initiative, which researches a method of designing and engineering UK cities with an emphasis on wellbeing and sustainability. In addition to his former role as President of the AA, he is currently Commissioner to the Royal Commission for the Exhibition of 1851, Chair of the Architectural Association Foundation and a Trustee of Design Council CABE.
Eva Jiricna is founder of her eponymous studio Eva Jiricna Architects and co-founder of AI Design. She founded her own practice in 1982 and then co-founded Prague studio AI Design in 1999. The studio's portfolio includes hotels and university buildings, as well as the Convention Centre in Zlín. Jiricna has received multiple honours. She is member of the Royal Academy of Arts, Royal Designer for Industry and an honorary member of Royal Society of Arts. She was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Medal by the London Design Festival and was named an Ambassador of the Czech Republic by the Czech Top 100. In 1994, Jiricna was awarded a CBE for her services to interior design.
