In 1968 David Greene was part of an intrepid team who set out across the English Channel for a day trip to Paris to give the newly opened Pompidou Centre the critical eye. Among the party were various members of Archigram and Cedric Price. The occasion was captured on a cine camera, and was pieced together in four films responding to the official views of the centre’s aims and priorities, Beaubourg’s view of itself, if you like.
On the 3rd of November 2020 ,David Greene will be making a solo research trip from North London across Tier 2 Lockdown London to Bedford Square, to cast a curious eye over the Architecture for Dogs exhibition and engage with the humans and non humans participating in A Playground for Non-Humans in front of the Architectural Association from Monday 2 November 2020 to Sunday 8 November 2020.
This visit will be filmed captured, recorded and edited by LAWuN as part of the AAmothership at http://lawun.blogspot.com/.
