Art critic, writer and curator, Mel Gooding focuses on the processes of art and architecture and has worked in close collaboration with artists and architects for many years. He has written monographs on Will Alsop, Bruce McLean, Patrick Heron and Josef Plecnik. Gooding collaborated with Bruce McLean on a thousand-word text, set in terrazo and stretching for nearly a mile along the South Shore Promenade at Bridlington. With Will Alsop, he was a member of the core design team on the competition-winning Swansea Library and Museum of the Word.
