AA Library, photo by Elena Andreea Teleaga, 2025The Library of the Architectural Association (AA) holds more than 48,000 volumes on all aspects of architectural theory, history and practice. The Library also receives print editions of approximately 150 journals and holds a substantial number of important historical magazines, including Wendingen and L’Architecture Vivante. In addition to contemporary volumes, it also houses rare and early works on the Modern movement, international exhibitions and the history of the AA.
The AA Library’s reading room and print volumes are accessible to AA Members during operating hours. An information and loan service is provided to support students and teaching programmes across the school.
The Library’s online catalogue includes more than 200,000 e-books as well as a growing number of online journals and databases to support teaching and learning.
Non-members can purchase a two-week Research Pass to access the AA Library which also provides access to the AA Archive.
