Ibrahim is a Gates Scholar and PhD candidate in architecture at the University of Cambridge. He holds an MPhil in architecture and urban studies as a former Cambridge Trust Scholar. Ibrahim is an urbanist interested in the sociopolitical entanglements of housing provision, perception and cultural imaginations of vacant locations in sites including Cairo. He has lectured and supervised in Cambridge, and was previously a teaching assistant at the German University in Cairo. Professionally, Ibrahim has worked in architectural offices in Munich and Stuttgart, and in urban initiatives in Cairo. On the side, he is passionate about telling stories and exploring ideas through the medium of animated illustrations.
