Jane is the inaugural recipient of the British Council Lina Bo Bardi Fellowship (2013) and founding member of the architecture collective, Assemble, who won the Turner Prize in 2015. She completed her PhD on the work of Brazilian architect, Lina Bo Bardi at the Royal College of Art (RCA) in 2018. She is Director of Studies for Architecture at Emmanuel College, University of Cambridge and a Bye-Fellow at King’s College, University of Cambridge. Jane is also a lecturer at the University of Cambridge and the AA, specialising in the intersections of gender and architecture. She is the author of three books on the subject: Breaking Ground: Architecture by Women (2019), Woman Made (2021) and Making Space (2025).
