SED March student Shreya Aneja has won Durham University’s Just IMAGINE if… competition with her collaborative NGO, Nostos Homes.

Just IMAGINE if… is an annual international social enterprise and innovation competition supporting ideas that tackle global challenges. The final round consisted of nine finalists from five different continents and was held at Durham University.

Aneja, one of the design consultants for Nostos Homes, presented Nostos Homes' work to competition founder Paul Lindley OBE. Nostos Homes projects consist of building modular homes for forcibly displaced peoples in India and Africa in collaboration with Habitat for Humanity.

As competition winners the project has been provided a research grant of £100k from Durham University.
