Danae is a Course Lecturer for Environmental and Technical Studies and the Design Research Lab (DRL) at the AA. She has tutored at the Bartlett School of Architecture (UCL), Royal College of Art, University of Westminster and Cardiff University, and is a guest critic at the Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia. Danae worked as a structural engineer in Germany for a few years before her last role as an associate team leader at the P.Art team of AKTII. Danae has several years of experience leading the structural design of small- to large-scale projects for schemes including mixed use, cultural institutions and installations, and infrastructural projects, from conceptual design to completion. Danae has also led and participated in workshops such as Shape to Fabrication with ZahaCode, AAG, Smart Geometry and DRX. Danae studied Civil and Architectural Engineering at the University of Bath and earned a Master’s in Membrane Structures in Germany.
