Nerma was awarded her PhD from the AA and her thesis entitled Drawing the Unbuildable was published in 2015. She is the DRL Programme Coordinator and teaches in History and Theory Studies, Environmental and Technical Studies, Media Studies, the Spatial Performance and Design (AAIS) programme and the PhD programme at the school.
