The AA Prize, which is awarded annually to the student who has made exceptional contributions to the AA was this year awarded to both Nena Aru and Theodora Giovanazzi.
The Alex Stanhope Forbes Prize, awarded for work in the field of colour and named for William Alexander Stanhope Forbes, a ‘brilliant student’ at the AA who ‘excelled as a colourist’ was awarded to Renée Die-Girbau from Diploma 14 for her project 'a room of [no] one's own''.
Brian Henderson Prize, is awarded annually in celebration of the artistry and vision of the hand-drawn architectural image. Set up in memory of Brian Henderson, who was instrumental in establishing the Architectural Association Foundation in 1989. This year the prize was won by Qi Zhu from Experimental 11 for the project 'Collage Sewage Garden'.
The Denys Lasdun Award for Excellence in Architecture is awarded to 3rd year students for work of outstanding merit in memory of AA alumnus Denys Lasdun. This year the prize was awarded to Yi Huang from Experimental 16 for the project 'Linguistics of the city: Rename Your City, A Civil Movement' and Anna Simmen from Experimental 2 for the project 'SPACE OF THE LOOTED OBJECTS'.
The Henry Florence Studentship, named after the AA President from 1878–79 was awarded to 5th Year student Nour Hamade.
The Henry Saxon Snell Prize, established in 1909 to encourage the study of the design and construction of hospitals, and convalescent homes was awarded to Dalal Itani from Diploma 6 for the project 'a carpet for the city'
The Holloway Trust Prize, established by Sir Henry Holloway for work relating to the building industry was awarded to Agnes Qinyuan Zhou and Georges Gedeon from Diploma 21 for the project 'It's Up to You''
The Howard Colls Studentship, which was established in 1911 for the best drawings at the end of 4th year was awarded to Tanuj Kohli from Diploma 7 for the project 'Waste Boundaries'.
The Julia Wood Foundation Prize, established in 2004 in recognition of Julia Wood’s dedication and contribution to the success of the Foundation Course at the AA was awarded to Paola Murguia Garcia.
The Nicholas Pozner Memorial Prize for Single Best Drawing was established in 2009 in memory of AA Graduate Nicholas Pozner, and in tribute to Nick’s talent, and the precision and beauty of his drawings. This year it was awarded to Amy Glover from Diploma 7 for her project 'The Fens: Protocols of Care for a Decaying Landscape'.
The Ralph Knott Memorial Prize, established in 1931, was awarded to Vasilis Appios from Diploma 9 for the project 'BioCultural Heritage in the Making'
The William Glover Prize, established in 1913, was awarded to Khaled Al-bashir from Diploma 13 for the project 'Cementing Zionism'
